CLASS ATTIRE
CLASS ATTIRE & SHOE REQUIREMENTS
- Acro/Tumbling: Any color or style of fitted clothing. No socks or shoes.
- Ballet: See section below for Ballet and Pointe Dress Code.
- Ballroom: Any color fitted top. Skirt, shorts, or leggings. Hair pulled back out of your face. Optional: Heels with strap around ankle.
- Combo Classes: Pink or black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair must be worn in a bun. Black tap shoes if in tap. Boys will wear black ballet shoes.
- Contemporary: Any color or style of top and bottoms. Hair pulled back out of your face. Optional: tan socks.
- Drill Team: Any color or style of dance top. Black shorts or leggings. Jazz shoes or turners.
- Hip Hop: Loose fitting clothing. Tennis shoes. Shoes should be newer and not worn out or dirty. Ideally shoes should be brought into the studio and removed before leaving so dirt will not be tracked in.
- Jazz: Any color fitted top. Black shorts or leggings. Hair pulled back out of your face. Optional: tan slip on jazz shoes.
- Pointe: See section below for Ballet and Pointe Dress Code.
- Tap: Any color or style dance top. Any color shorts, leggings, or pants. Black tap shoes.
- Technique: Any color fitted top. Any color shorts or leggings. Hair pulled back out of your face.
TEAM REHEARSAL DRESS CODE
- Company Rehearsals: All black dancewear.
- Performance Team: Black fitted top. Any color shorts, leggings, or pants.
ADULT CLASS DRESS CODE
- Adult Ballet: Wear something you feel comfortable and confident moving in! We recommend a leotard and tights with shorts or a skirt when you feel comfortable but it is not required. Pink ballet shoes.
- Adult Jazz: Fitted dance wear. Socks or black jazz shoes.
- Adult Tap: Comfortable dance wear. Black lace up tap shoes.
BALLET AND POINTE DRESS CODE
Ballet Levels 1-4, Mini, Petite, and Junior Company
- Required to wear a black leotard and pink tights.
- Pink tights that must be worn into the ballet shoes, not rolled up on the leg.
- Skirts can be worn for all levels but for center work only.
- No underwear allowed underneath ballet dance wear.
- Hair must be worn in a bun. Buns must be secured with bobby pins, hairspray and if needed a hair net. Hair in the front must be slicked back and kept out of the face.
- Shoes and tights should not have holes in them.
- Small earrings or a small necklace is ok as long as it is not distracting to your dancing. No bracelets.
- In the cooler months, warm ups can be worn into class but must be removed after the first couple of barre exercises or when the teacher requests they be removed.
Ballet Levels 5-6, Junior Elite, PreTeen, Tween, Teen, Teen Elite, Senior, and Elite Company
- Any color leotard (including black) and pink tights.
- Pink tights that must be worn into the ballet shoes, not rolled up on the leg.
- Skirts can be worn for all levels but for center work only.
- Black tights are allowed for Ballet 5/6, Teen Elite, Senior, and Elite Company.
- No underwear allowed underneath tight and leotard.
